The Washington School of Photography will hold another Used Equipment Sale on Sunday, August 15 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM in our studio at 4850 Rugby Avenue in Bethesda. 

Items for sale include 35mm film cameras, tripods, studio props, cords and connectors, scanners, a huge supply of enlargers and other darkroom equipment, flash units, small canvas backdrops, books and assorted accessories. Read more...

Along with our many workshops and special events, we also offer a program of courses leading to a certificate in professional photography. Both serious hobbyists and aspiring professional photographers are welcome to enroll.

From humble beginnings…to a nationally recognized program.

The Washington School of Photography was founded in 1976, to bring professional photographic education to the Washington, DC/Baltimore metro area. Starting in just two rooms, the workshops and classes quickly grew. In the 1980s, the Professional Photography Program was approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
